Natural edge Manzanita Burl wood. This wood is dense and hard, grows with many natural defects. I love it because it holds details well, many other wood workers wont use this wood, because it has a repatriation of blowing up or falling apart on them. I have work with this wood for many years and have learned how to read the wood for the best results.
