"Feeling of Movement", 105
From my "Feeling of Movement", series, but only smaller. It is not uncommon for me to rework a piece once, sometimes up to 5 times. This piece start life as a large piece. Then I attempted to create a "Deconstructed" piece. Although somewhat successful, but a bit off. After a few years I was able to look at the deconstructed pieces a bit differently.
Displayed together they form a "Deconstructed" piece. Separately each piece can stand on its own.
To me this piece is an abstracted impression of Maui's beloved Humpback whale.
