Hawaiian Pheasant wood, 10x 36 x 9 inches
Always looking for this rare and hard to get Hawaiian wood. Found a small log in a friends wood pile. I have a love hate relationship with this wood. Love to find it, hate to work with it, love the final results. Hard, heavy and dense with a nasty smell and taste. But has some of the most beautiful grain from a dark coffee black to a present light brown with a feather grain.
