"The Feeling of Movement IV"
Hawaiian Pheasant wood, 5.5 X 11 X 8 inches.
A rare wood that grows in Hawaii. Heavy hard and dense. Difficult to work, takes twice as long to complete a piece. I have a love hate relationship with this wood. But if everything goes right, I will end up with a beautiful museum quality piece.
Exhibited at The Honolulu Museum of Art at First Hawaiian Center, 2017 -18
