"The Feeling of Movement", Small 102
From my "Feeling of Movement", series, but only smaller. The second piece of my small scale pieces from all my series.
I found this small log on the side of the road while walking my dog. I knew it was Pepper tree by the bark. I have worked with this wood before. But was in for a big surprise by the incredible color inside. What is hard about down sizing my work is, getting the proportions right. This piece worked out perfect. Hawaiian Pepper Tree, 7 x 6.5 x 5 inches
